While discovering the terminal, we first come across the Main Concourse: Find out more about the background and history of the old fashioned ticket windows, the famous brass clock in the center on top of the information booth, and discover the purpose of the green celestial ceiling, which was painted in 1912.
Did you know that there is also a Shopping Gallery and Dining Concourse inside the terminal? Well, now you know - and during our tour, we’ll show you all the little surprises you can find there! Before leaving the building, your tour guide will also take a stroll with you through Grand Central Market: A massive food market offering the finest specialties from all over the world. As soon as we are leaving the building, you can take more pictures from outside of the sculptural group towering upon the entrance before we are heading towards the East River on 42nd Street.
