Description: Binge Eating at it’s best! Each year hot dog fans from around the world are coming to Coney Island to see the next two Hot Dog Eating Champions in action. Every contestant’s got 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible but still more than any other competitor. This is definitely one of the craziest events in New York in July 2019! Women’s competition starts at 10 AM, Men’s competition at 12 PM.

Description: Don’t miss out on this event in New York in July 2019 and celebrate the American Independence Day with an impressive Firework at the East River. You can get the best views along the FDR Drive between 16th Street and 42nd Street. The show will start at 9:20 PM and lasts for 20 minutes, however, we strongly recommend you to arrive latest at 8 PM at your favorite spot.

Description: Summer in New York wouldn’t be the same without the Summergarden Music Festival at the Museum of Modern Art. Since 1971, the MoMa features live jazz and classical music performances every Sunday in July at the Sculpture Garden in Midtown. All concerts are for free, however, you have to arrive early as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The concerts are taking place every Sunday, starting July 7, at 8 PM.

Description: Shakespeare remains in Central Park in July (official start May 21, 2019). If you want to see plays like Julius Caesar or A Midsummer Night’s Dream for free, you can enter a ticket lottery and if you’re lucky enough you’ll get a seat. Otherwise you’ll also have the option to buy tickets, however, the so-called “supporter” tickets are starting at $500.

Description: Fine dining in New York doesn’t have to be expensive. During the biannual NYC Restaurant Week you can get a 2-course lunch for only $26 per person and and a 3-course dinner for $42 per person at the most popular restaurants in NYC. Starting July 8 you can browse a diversity of menus and book your table at your favorite restaurant in advance.
